Holkham Beach and The Lookout is favourite spot amongst dog walkers and blends perfectly into its surroundings. Dogs are welcome on the beach but please ensure that they are kept under close control or on the lead. Please be sure to clean up after your dog and be mindful of the fact this special place is a national nature reserve. Please give cordoned areas a wide berth as they are positioned to protect ground-nesting birds that are easily disturbed. Dogs are most welcome inside The Lookout, so much so that dog bowls were integrated into the design of the drinking water fountain. The Lookout serves coffee made with locally roasted beans, hot chocolate and speciality teas. Cold drinks include iced tea and fruit juices. Delicious cakes, sausage rolls, sandwiches, soup and fruit are also on the menu. Toilets are available, including an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.
