The Dolphin Inn Peace Place, Thorpeness, Suffolk, IP16 4NA

B&B / Food & Drink
A charming pub with restaurant and 3 en-suite bedrooms in Thorpeness, near Aldeburgh Suffolk. The Dolphin Inn has a unique and interesting history dating back to Tudor times, becoming the focal point of the Seaside Holiday Village designed by Stuart Ogilvie in 1910. In 1995 suffering a fire which destroyed the inn, there has been many changes but the Inn has continued to maintain its integral part within the community. The Dolphin Inn is very dog friendly. You are welcome to eat in the Snug area of the bar/restaurant, which is smaller than the main restaurant, so booking is advisable. They also allow dogs to stay at the Inn asking that they are kept off the bed and not left alone in the rooms. The Dolphin Inn also has a large seating area outside to enjoy those warm summer days. Titch's thoughts: We visited three times during our long weekend away, twice for an evening meal and one for Sunday lunch so I would assume all my family enjoyed the food. Polly and I had a lovely time too, we got lots of cuddles and we were even given a treat each.
