Weeleyhall Wood Church Lane, Weeley, Essex, CO16 9AT

Weeleyhall Wood is a 79 acre woodland area with a number of circular trails which makes it a perfect place for walk during the daylight hours. In spring this wood comes alive with colour, with Bluebells carpeting the woodland floor and throughout the woodland different patches of trees can be found. Weeleyhall Wood is managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust and parking is available by the church, from here you follow the track on the opposite side of the road past a pond and down the track. Please keep dogs on a lead down the track to the wood, as it is privately owned. These woods are a fantastic location for a walk with your four-legged friends as there is plenty of areas to be explored and sniffed. In winter it should be noted that the woods can become very muddy so humans don't forget your wellies and be prepared to give your dog a bath.
